Open Fiber connects first Italian school to its FTTH network

Italian wholesale operator Open Fiber has announced that FTTH services at speeds of up to 1Gbps (scalable to 10Gbps) are now available at the Alessandro Manzoni Scholastic Institute in the town of Jolanda di Savoia, the first educational establishment to be connected to its network. The service was activated by Lepida, the in-house company of the Emilia Romagna region, which also connected the local library to Open Fiber's network.
