Open Fiber gains extra EUR 675 mln funding from banks

Italian wholesale operator Open Fiber announced a EUR 675 million extension to its existing credit line, raising the total from EUR 3.5 billion to 4.15 billion. The original agreement, to fund construction of its national fibre network, was signed in 2018 and the new facility, agreed with BNP Paribas, Societe Generale, UniCredit and others, makes it Europe's largest structured finance operation in the industry, according to the company.
