Openreach explores interest in larger FTTP rollout

Openreach is exploring the case for an increased fibre-to-the premise (FTTP) network investment across the UK, and plans to close the current scoping phase of the project with the publication of a formal consultation document in the summer. This represents the first significant move since BT agreed to transform Openreach into a legally separated company, giving in to Ofcom's demands.
