OpenStack Foundation becomes 'Open Infrastructure Foundation'

The OpenStack Foundation changed its name to the Open Infrastructure Foundation (OIF) and welcomed new Platinum members, including payment processor Ant, Wind River and FiberHome which was previously a Gold member. The name change recognises an expansion of the organisation's mission, scope and community to advance open source over the next decade to support open infrastructure for a market estimated at USD 20 billion, the organisation said.
