Opera, GooMe deliver web, home media on TV

Opera Software and OTT media services provider GooMe Interactive have signed a technology contract to deliver modular web-based services for experiencing TV, web and home media for the STB and DTV industry via IPTV and/or hybrid IP/broadcast delivery. Both companies will combine Opera's Devices SDK with GooMe's OTT media platform for an interactive user experience with a single remote control access. This service gives operators, broadcasters and TV/set-top-box OEMs access to an entire range of internet and media services, from traditional TV to home media streaming and on-demand services
