Optus achieves 300 Mbps uplink speed on commercial 5G network with Nokia

Thursday 1 July 2021 | 09:12 CET | News
Australian operator Optus has achieved 5G upload speeds of 300 Mbps in an mmWave testing on its live commercial network, together with technology partner Nokia. Clocking 300 Mbps, the record upload speed was achieved on Optus' 5G mmWave site in Strathpine, Brisbane by combining the operator's 4G 2100 MHz spectrum with mmWave spectrum operating on a single user MIMO mode, using a commercial grade Casa Systems CPE.
