Optus launches LTE in Adelaide CBD

Australian telecommunications provider Optus has switched on its first LTE sites in Adelaide. LTE services are now available at four sites in the Adelaide CBD, several months ahead of schedule. Optus will also upgrade the 3G network in Adelaide next year, to bring faster 3G speeds and better indoor reception to more customers. Optus' LTE network is currently live in selected areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Adelaide CBD, and the Greater Newcastle and Hunter regions.
