Optus launches My Plan for smartphones

Australian telecommunications provider Optus has launched a new range of smartphone plans. The "My Plan" options will be available from 1 July. My Plan will move customers automatically to a higher plan level if they go over their plan limits, which reverts to the original plan at the start of the following month. Furthermore, Optus will list inclusions in minutes, rather than a dollar value. The plans start a AUD 50 per month which comes with 450 minutes and 500 MB of data, followed by AUD 60 per month for 600 minutes and 1 GB, while AUD 80 per month buys 800 standard minutes and 2 GB of
