Optus quarterly revenue slightly declines on lower equipment, service sales

Australian operator Optus saw its operating revenue slightly decline by 1.1 percent year-on-year to AUD 2.3 billion in the quarter ended 31 December 2091, with higher NBN migration revenue offsetting lower equipment and service revenues. Net profit plunged 24 percent to AUD 131 million in the three months to 31 December 2019 from AUD 172 million in the year-earlier period.
