Optus tests VoLTE

Australian communications provider Optus has tested voice over LTE (VoLTE) technology, ZDNet reports. Telstra has already started VoLTE tests earlier and aims to launch the service in 2014. Optus managing director of networks, Vic Mcclelland, told ZDNet that the company is also working on providing voice services over its LTE networks and that it is also trialling HD Voice.
