Optus to purchase mmWave AWL licences, expand mmWave deployment

Australian operator Optus has announced it received the rights to purchase mmWave AWL licences by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). Optus now plans to expand its mmWave deployment, and trial the technology across 15 locations in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra.
