Orange appoints 11-member advisory body on data and AI ethics

Orange has announced its latest initiative to support an ethical and socially responsible development of systems based on data and artificial intelligence. A new Data and AI Ethics Council has been appointed to advise the business, draw up ethics guidelines, and monitor their implementation across its subsidiaries. Created as an independent body, it is made up of eleven experts mainly with an academic and research background, specialising in fields such as ethics, law and philosophy.
