Orange Belgium reiterates FY outlook on higher revenues, reduced cable losses in Q1

Wednesday 24 April 2019 | 11:28 CET | News
Orange Belgium reiterated its full year outlook after announcing higher revenues for the first quarter, and a narrowed EBITDA loss at its cable operations. Revenues for the first quarter lifted 3.8 percent from the year before to EUR 318.2 million, driven by a 83.4 percent increase in fixed-mobile convergence services and 3 percent lift at mobile-only services. Retail services, the company's largest segment, advanced 13.5 percent to EUR 205.7 million. The gains were a bit tempered by MVNOs, where revenue losses amounted to EUR 12.1 million after the company lost key wholesale customers.
