Orange Belgium wants to talk with Voo, highlights differences with 'hard' Telenet

Orange Belgium would be a more "friendly" alternative to the "hard" Telenet, which very recently confirmed its interest in taking over cable operator Voo. Orange Belgium CEO Michael Trabbia made the statement in an interview with De Tijd, responding to the news that Telenet might be willing made a bid worth EUR 1.3 billion for the company, owned by Nethys and Brutele in respectively Wallonia and Brussels. Orange Belgium expressed its interest in Voo in March: Voo responded that it was not for sale.
