Orange blames mostly govt for 'missed opportunity'

Orange chairman and CEO Stephane Richard told Challenges that following a 'missed opportunity' to merge Orange and Bouygues he expects prices to rise. There will be activity but no price war, said Richard, who laid the blame for the talks' failure on all parties involved, although the main sticking point was the government's unwillingness to dilute its holding to make way for Bouygues.
