Orange CEO talks to PCCW about Dailymotion

Orange CEO Stephane Richard met Richard Li, chairman of holding company PCCW, to discuss a possible partnership or investment in the French group's video streaming site Dailymotion, Le Monde reports. The two men met in Hong Kong at the request of Li, whose company owns a Hong Kong mobile operator and is present in pay TV operations. "First one must decide what is the right strategy before finding the right investor," said Richard, who is hesitating between a completely free model and a freemium model mixing pay and free access. Orange is also in talks with Microsoft.
