Orange Fab 'Women Start' programme selects nine start-ups in Francophone countries

Orange has announced that the first edition of its 'Women Start' accelerator programme has closed the selection process, naming nine winning start-ups from Francophone countries, of which two are from Africa. The programme is part of the Orange Fab network and received over 300 applications from a variety of fields. Among the winners, there are several mobile apps in areas including education, agriculture, and B2B networking, as well as a start-up that has developed a robotic finger named KiOne to help businesses demonstrate their products.
