Orange France plans to launch LTE at start-2013

Orange France will offer LTE services in large cities from the start of 2013, according to France Telecom CEO Stephane Richard, Le Figaro reports. Speaking at the LeWeb 2010 conference in Paris, he said that it would take between 18 months and two years to deploy LTE equipment. Asked how much spectrum Orange would seek in the 4G auction next year, he answered the operator would bid for a 'large share'.
