Orange France sales decline in Q2 despite strong net adds

Tuesday 26 July 2016 | 11:08 CET | News
Orange France reported comparable sales down 1.7 percent year-on-year to EUR 4.7 billion in the second quarter, after a drop of 0.7 per cent in the first quarter. The negative movement was driven by mobile services (with sales decreasing 5.2 percent), hurt by a stronger decline in the roaming revenue from its deal with Free, as well as the ongoing impact of European roaming price reductions and the shift towards SIM-only offers.
