Orange France 'social contract' boosts staff morale

Wednesday 19 December 2012 | 11:21 CET | News
France Telecom-Orange's stress-reduction policies have been successful, according to a semi-annual survey by independent social research companies Secafi and Alpha. Of 60,000 employees questioned in November, 81 percent said they were proud of working for the company, compared to 36 percent during a wave of suicides in 2009-2010. The improvement was less steep in other areas. CFDT trade union representatives told La Tribune that the operator was now becoming a "normal" company and that the situation had still not improved enough.
