Orange invests EUR 75 mln in Africa Internet Group

Orange Digital Ventures has invested EUR 75 million in Africa Internet Group, joining Axa, Goldman Sachs and long-standing investors MTN, Millicom and Rocket Internet. The investment will be accompanied by a series of partnerships between Orange and Africa Internet subsidiaries. Orange will help websites such as Jumia to accelerate their growth and seize growth opportunities in Africa. Africa Internet owns ten online consumer businesses in 23 African countries, including e-commerce marketplace Kaymu, which is used by over 50,000 local and internatonal companies to do business with African
