Orange invests in G-cluster to grow games business

Orange has bought a minority stake in Japanese cloud-based games aggregation and streaming services provider G-cluster Global. Part of a capital increase programme, the investment reinforces the existing partnership between the two companies. G-cluster currently provides the software platform for Orange's cloud-gaming service, available to almost 3 million Orange TV customers in France. G-cluster will benefit from the strengthened relationship as it develops internationally in years to come. Orange writes that it could introduce cloud-gaming services in some of its other markets.
