Orange Kenya may lose internet deal over Kenstream payments

Orange Kenya could lose a contract to linking key state departments to broadband wireless internet, after it pulled the plug on the agencies over delayed payments, Business Daily reported. The ICT Authority (ICTA), which is mandated with the management of all government ICT functions, is expected to advertise for contracts to offer internet connections, including the point-to-point link that is currently offered by Orange Kenya through Kenstream.
