Orange leads in French LTE site activations during November

The number of LTE cell sites active across mainland France increased by 374 in November to reach close to 41,550 as of 01 December, according to the latest monthly report from spectrum agency ANFR. The overall number of sites authorised but not yet in service stood at 46,900, rising to nearly 49,500 when including 2,600 sites in the French overseas territories. Month-on-month, Orange regained the lead in LTE cell site activations (+245), while progressing at a slower pace compared to October (+347).
