Orange Moldova launches Business Internet Security service

Wednesday 16 September 2020 | 16:50 CET | News

Orange Moldova launched the Business Internet Security service (BIS) which provides companies with non-stop security and protection. Thanks to BIS, companies can anticipate and prevent the risks related to remote employees' internet access and secure their internal network. The service is available with two monthly subscriptions, Basic and Standard. BIS is also suitable if companies have already resumed work in the office, the operator said. The system automatically scans and blocks viruses, protecting computers and servers on the network, as well as mobile devices such as smartphones, laptops, tablets or GSM modems connected to the internet.

Thanks to this service, companies benefit from a higher data processing power, at a significantly lower cost compared to traditional products. The two subscriptions can be customised with options tailored to the company's size, the desired level of protection or the ways in which internet connections are used.

Basic subscription

In addition to the access control functions, depending on the network element in the LAN, end-users can ban specific categories of destinations on the internet (web filtering) and ban or prioritise certain applications (control of applications and transferred content).

Standard subscription

Compared to the Basic subscription, end-users have access to a service configuration and monitoring portal, where they can view the activation of security mechanisms and functions and they can change the settings.
