Orange Money to launch in France next year

Friday 3 July 2015 | 10:44 CET | News
Orange plans launch Orange Money mobile financial services in France in 2006, deputy CEO Ramon Fernandez announced at an event in London. Total Telecom writes that the service will allow customers in Orange's home market to transfer funds to friends and family in the Middle East and Africa. Orange Money is now in thirteen countries, where 14 million users transfer EUR 500 million a month. The service generated around EUR 50 million of revenue in 2014. Fernandez said Orange plans to increase this segment of revenues to EUR 200 million in 2018.
