Orange not talking to Free about network sharing - CEO

France is too small a market for four big operators and consolidation is sure to come some time in the future, according to Orange chairman and CEO Stephane Richard. The network-sharing agreement proposed by SFR and Bouygues Telecom is already a type of consolidation, but Richard said in an interview with Les Echos that Orange France is not talking with Free about a similar move. Orange already provides Free with network capacity for 3G roaming, which was part of Orange's strategy to deal with the entry of Free as the fourth operator last year. Richard also rejected consumer association
