Orange Poland tests radio link in 80 GHz band with 5G base station in Lublin

Mobile operator Orange Poland has deployed a radio link to its 5G base station in the city of Lublin, as part 5G network testing in the city. A 250 MHz block in the 80 GHz band was used for the connection, instead of a fibre-optic line, and the test achieved a speed of 3.2 Gbps on the 2.6-km line.
