Orange provides IoT connectivity to Splitsecnd

Orange Business Services (OBS) announced that it has partnered with start-up Splitsecnd to provide IoT connectivity for its portable car safety device. Founded in 2012, Splitsecnd is preparing to launch an updated version of its device, which offers a range of car safety services accessible via an embedded SIM card. Designed to plug into the cigarette lighter (12V outlet) of any car, the device can detect a crash and connect to a live operator in case of emergency.
