Orange Romania to launch Orange Money service in 2015

Orange Romania will launch a mobile banking service called Orange Money at the end of 2015, writes local publication Hotnews.ro citing an announcement made by the company. In November of 2014, the operator created Orange Money, a limited company that will offer customers a way to pay bills and services as well as to transfer money using their mobile phones. On 17 December 2014, the operator designated Cristina-Oltea Cosniceru as the general director of this company. Orange Romania's new service will compete with Vodafone Romania's M-Pesa mobile payment service which was launched in March
