Orange Spain reinforces 4G coverage in tourist resorts

Thursday 23 June 2016 | 09:01 CET | News
Orange Spain has announced that it will be permanently improving its access and transmission network in the country's major tourist destinations to ensure full 4G coverage when traffic increases over the summer months. The operator will invest some EUR 10 million to install 250 new antennas in a number of major coastal resorts, as well as those with less than 10,000 inhabitants. It will also spend a further EUR 1 million to improve the capacity of existing antennas in coastal towns and inland destinations in 36 Spanish provinces.
