Orange targets 30% annual revenue growth for Dailymotion

Tuesday 23 July 2013 | 15:33 CET | News
Orange chairman and CEO Stephane Richard told Les Echos that the group would grow its Dailymotion video portal subsidiary alone, despite the interest shown by French groups such as Lagardere, Vivendi and CCM Benchmark. Richard has set Dailymotion's annual revenue growth target at more than 30 percent, to reach over EUR 100 million by 2016, compared to EUR 37 million in 2012. The company will hire 60 people, or a third of its current workforce, mainly in France, and will open offices in Spain, Japan, Canada and Brazil.
