Orange to participate in EuroQCI project on quantum communication infrastructure

Orange is part of a consortium of European companies that has been awarded a contract by the European Commission to study the design of EuroQCI, a quantum communication infrastructure covering EU countries. Among its key objectives, the project aims to enable ultra-secure communication via encryption systems designed to protect public and private entities against cyber threats. This will safeguard critical communication infrastructures used by government institutions, air traffic control and power grids, among others.
