Orange to steer away from strictly exclusive content

Orange's head of content, Xavier Couture, said he did not believe in the future of strict exclusivity with respect to content, speaking at a conference organised by consultant NPA Conseil and Le Figaro newspaper. Content strategy is an important part of the group's five-year plan, set to be announced on 1 July. As previously reported the Orange Sport and Orange Cinema Series TV channels, only available to the operator's ADSL subscribers, has been criticised by the French competition authority.
