Orange, Yoigo lead mobile number porting wins in Spain

Movistar managed to slow the loss of mobile customers through porting last year, while Orange and Yoigo were the main winners in the Spanish mobile market. According to data reported by Expansion, Orange was the main winner with a net gain of 140,000 lines through porting in 2015, but this was down 71 percent on its net adds in 2014. Yoigo improved, adding 43,000 in 2015 compared to a loss of 22,000 the previous year. The MVNOS added 22 percent more customers through porting in 2015, at a total 363,000.
