Orange's Richard supports split role of Chairman and CEO

Stephane Richard, who secured a third term as Orange chairman and CEO in 2018, said that the telecom group should consider separating the positions of chairman and CEO when Orange shareholders will be asked to vote on who takes the helm in May 2022. In an interview with Le Journal du Dimanche, Richard revealed that he would seek a new term, hinting that he could keep his responsibilities as chairman of the board in the event of a split of the two roles.
