OT, Telefonica partner on embedded SIM pilot

Oberthur Technologies (OT), a provider of digital security products for the mobility space, has announced that its technology has been selected by Telefonica to support other operators participating in a pilot to demonstrate interoperability between different platforms and SIM cards from different vendors. The operator recently revealed that SIM vendors, global operators and OEMs are working together to implement a truly interoperable approach for embedded SIM cards. For the corresponding trial OT will be providing its Subscription Management platform to securely and remotely change and
