Thursday 19 October 2017 | 17:51 CET | News
OTE completed the 8-month long first phase of its telecommunications infrastructure upgrade project during which it increased its number of street cabinets connected with optical fibres to more than 13,000. As a result, OTE said its Cosmote network is the largest optic fibre network in Greece, with a total route length of 43,000 kilometres. Following the completion of the project's first phase, the company complied with the plan submitted to the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (HTPC) for the first phase of the New Generation Networks Regulation.
