OTE revenues down slightly on Romania weakness

Thursday 9 May 2019 | 11:18 CET | News
OTE reported first-quarter revenues up just 0.2 percent to EUR 908.6 million, as growth in its home market was offset by continued weakness in Romania. The company said regulatory headwinds and a tough comparison with last year will mean continued challenges in the quarters ahead and it will maintain its focus on cost reductions, supported by further digitisation of customer service. The group maintained its outlook for adjusted free cash flow over the full year of EUR 450 million, after the figure more than doubled in Q1 to EUR 35.6 million.
