Over 10% of world's population to have paid OTT subscription this year - eMarketer

Over 10 percent of the world's population, or 765 million people across the globe, will have an OTT subscription this year, according to the latest report from emarketer. The total represents 32.1 percent of digital video viewers worldwide. The global subscription OTT market is expected to advance by 24 percent this year on the back of increasing internet penetration, faster speeds and a broader shift toward internet entertainment.
