Over 100 operators deploy NB-IoT and LTE-M networks

The number of operators either deploying or launching networks based on at least one of the NB-IoT (narrowband IoT) or LTE-M technologies has passed 3 figures for the first time, according to a report from the Global mobile Suppliers Association (GSA). As of March 2019, a total of 102 operators in 52 countries have deployed or launched one or both technologies, with 20 operators in 19 countries deploying or launching both NB-IoT and LTE-M, said the report.
