Over 60% of US consumers use mobile banking

Some 62 percent of US consumers have tried mobile banking and 90 percent are using online banking, according to a recently released 2014 consumer mobility report from Bank of America. The study found that more 82 percent of people using mobile banking apps access it once a week or more. Nearly a third (31%) access mobile banking at least once a day or more. Nearly half (47%) use either mobile or online as their primary method of banking. The study also found that 65 percent of women and 56 percent of men surveyed said they would not use their smartphone as a wallet, while 33 percent and 43
