Over 60s using virtual comms in UK, US felt more lonely during pandemic - study

Over 60s in the UK and US who had more virtual contact during the global Covid-19 pandemic experienced an increase in loneliness, according to new research conducted by sociologists from the University of Lancaster in the UK and the University of British Columbia in Canada. The research has been published in 'Frontiers in Sociology'.
