Over 70% of drivers aware of connected car products - study

Consumer awareness of connected car products is growing rapidly, with 71 percent of drivers indicating they are interested in using, or are already using, products and services related to connected car technology. The figure is included in the Connected Car Industry Report 2014 published by Telefonica and based on primary research carried out among over 5,000 consumers in 5 markets (US, UK, Brazil, Germany and Spain) with expert insight from top automotive OEMs including Ford, Renault , Kia, GM, Volkswagen and Nissan. The report follows on from Telefonica's first connected car study last year
