Over 75% of Italians own smartphone - study

A total of 93.1 percent of Italians over the age of 18 own a mobile, 75.7 percent of them smartphone devices, according to the 2016 Italy report by Eurispes. The researcher also revealed that 64.5 percent of respondents have a laptop, while 54.7 percent own a PC, 43.3 percent a tablet, 33.3 percent a smart TV and 31.3 percent a games console. In addition, some 81.5 percent of Italians are connected to the internet, with 95 percent of them having a Facebook profile.
