Over 87% of Dutch teens have WhatsApp on phone

Over 87 percent of Dutch teenagers have WhatsApp installed on their smartphones. Facebook follows with 81.8 percent of 12-19 year-olds, according to research by the Telecompaper Consumer Panel. The survey in February and March found that Snapchat, Facebook Messenger and Instagram are also on around 60 percent of teens' phones, and Twitter, Skype and Google+ are installed on around 30 percent. BlackBerry Messenger fell to just 1 percent, equal to the local VoIP app RingCredible. ChatOn, the messaging service from Samsung, is still on 17 percent of phones.
