Over a third of mobile operators commit to 2050 net zero targets - GSMA

Over a third of the mobile industry by revenue has credibly committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050 or earlier, according to a study from the GSMA. The industry body's latest "Mobile Net Zero – State of the Industry on Climate Action 2021" report states that 36 percent of the mobile industry by revenue and 31 percent by connections have committed to the rigorous criteria of the UN Race To Zero campaign.
