Over fifth of US pay-TV subscribers take online video service via TV provider

Over a fifth (21%) of US pay-TV subscribers also take an online video service through their pay-TV provider, up from 10 percent a year ago, according to research by Parks Associates. The market researcher said the jump was due to more and more OTT services available over pay-TV platforms, such as Comcast and Verizon adding support for Netflix in their set-top boxes.
