Over half of EU mobile connections to be 4G by 2020 - GSMA

The adoption of 4G services and devices across Europe is advancing at such a rate that over half of mobile connections will be running at 4G speeds by 2020, up from 10 percent in early 2015. The prediction is included in a report from the GSMA, which also says the continent's rush to 4G is fuelling consumer demand for a new wave of innovative mobile services, helping European operators move towards a stabilisation of revenues and margins following several years of declines in what is one of the world's most competitive mobile regions. According to the report, 4G networks currently cover 63
