Over one third of German web users victims of cybercrime

Over one third (38%) of all internet users in Germany have been victims of computer and internet crime in the last 12 months, according to a survey by Aris for ICT industry group Bitkom. This is equal to around 21 million Germany. One quarter (24%) of internet users said their computer had been infected with malicious software in the last 12 months.
